Preparation doesn't really begin a few days or weeks before placements. It begins when you realize you want to achieve something. I started learning new technologies, languages and building applications when I was in my 2nd year. A few months before placements I went through aptitude. I was in constant touch with coding. All these helped me a lot.

In Accenture, for getting the 6.5 LPA job role as a Full Stack Engineer(FSE), it required me to be proficient in not only aptitude but also coding. So I worked more on my coding alongside the aptitude. And finally got placed for the desired role and package in Accenture. Still hope to bag many more opportunities in the future.

Have patience!! All things are difficult before they become easy. Yes, and DAYANANDA SAGAR made the most difficult situation easier for me. I came to DSI with the goal of doing something big and different. I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience while studying here. The initial hatred I had for programming made me think that I wouldn’t have ever been able to do it. But with the right guidance and support from the faculty I have not only polished my programming skills but also gathered immense knowledge about modern technologies.

    Branch : ISE

    Company: Lowe’s India

    CTC: 8 LPA

It was just the second company to visit the on-campus placement drive and my very first interview. With the very inexperience of the do’s and don’ts of an interview, I just focused on giving it my best shot, without worrying about the outcome, and it was all worth it when I was called back and offered a job after being denied in the final round. It was a memorable first interview indeed.

I have landed upon the Technical analyst role which is definitely the road for me to achieve my dream.
