12/07/2025 The third Board of Studies (BoS) meeting of the Department of CSE-IoT, Cyber Security including Blockchain, Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management, Bengaluru, was convened on 12th July 2025 in the Department Meeting Room, DSATM. The meeting brought together academic experts, industry representatives, and faculty members to review and discuss curriculum enhancements, emerging technologies, and innovative teaching methodologies. 28/06/2025 The third Industry Curriculum Conclave of the Department of CSE (IoT, Cyber Security including Blockchain), Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management, Bengaluru, was convened to engage with industry stakeholders and gather their expert insights. 25/04/2025 and 26/04/2025 The Department of CSE (IoT, Cyber Security including Blockchain), Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management, Bengaluru, organized the CloudSEK–Quantum Breach AI in Cybersecurity Hackathon. The event was designed to provide a platform for students and participants to explore the capabilities of Quantum Breach AI in addressing pressing cybersecurity issues. The objectives cantered on leveraging advanced AI techniques to develop innovative solutions, fostering teamwork and collaboration, and creating impactful strategies to tackle real-world cybersecurity challenges faced by industries today.

20/03/2025 The Department of CSE (IoT, Cyber Security including Blockchain), Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management, Bengaluru, organized the CloudSEK – Quantum Breach AI in Cybersecurity Hackathon to provide students with hands-on exposure to real-world cybersecurity challenges. The event aimed to introduce participants to advanced AI tools in cybersecurity, foster innovation, and encourage teamwork in developing practical solutions. During the hackathon, 5th-semester students, guided by faculty and industry mentors, worked in teams to analyze cybersecurity threats, design solutions using Quantum

23-07-2024 Know Blockchain: The speaker for the Talk was Mr. Srinivas Aprameya, Blockchain Developer, Accelchain Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore. The objective of the session was to introduce participants to the concepts and practical applications of Blockchain Technology. This included an overview of various Blockchain technologies such as Distributed Network, Centralized systems, Distributed Ledger, Power of Blockchain in Transaction, Crypto Currency.  
20-06-2024 & 05-07-2024 Mobile Application Development Workshop: The workshop was organized for the student of 2nd year 4th semester of CS in IoT, Cyber security including Blockchain. Mr. Vijay Kashyap, Assistant Professor, Department of AIML, DSATM, Bengaluru provided the help to cover both foundational knowledge and practical application, ensuring participants leave with a comprehensive understanding of mobile application development. Sir provided a hands-on session to creating clear and actionable mobile application development workshop can greatly enhance the experience and ensure participants gain valuable skills. The participants are actively participated in learning the mobile application development.  
16-06-2024 Industrial Visit to STPI - IoT Open Labb>: The visit was organized for the student of 2nd year 4th semester of CS in IoT, Cyber security including Blockchain branch to showcase the lab and working environment. STPI Bangalore specifically caters to the needs of software and IT companies in the region by offering services such as high-speed data communication, incubation facilities, data center facilities, and consulting services. It plays a crucial role in supporting the growth of the IT industry in Bangalore, which is one of India's major IT hubs known for its numerous technology companies and startups. CoE- STPI IoT OpenLab aims to support & nurture around 500 start-ups over a period of 5 years.  
01-02-2024 and 02-02-2024 Workshop on Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking: Mr. Samarth, CEO, Reverse Engineering, Pvt. Ltd, delivered the talk with hands-on about ways of handling the computers, avoiding the cyber security threat, in daily routine work, from social media, from financial threats and how to protect our personal information from other. Also he has discussed about computing and digital systems, encompasses the practices, technologies, and processes designed to protect computer systems, networks, data, and information from unauthorized access, data breaches, cyberattacks, and other threats. He also spoke about the primary goal of ethical hacking is to identify and fix security flaws before malicious hackers can exploit them for nefarious purposes.  
20-12-2023 Awareness of Cyber Risk and Hygiene practice: Mr. Gururaj P, Lead Cyber Security Engineer, DXC Technology, provided the awareness about the cyber security threat, in daily routine work, from social media, from financial threats and how to protect our personal information from other. In an increasingly digital world, understanding cyber risks and practicing good cyber hygiene are essential to protecting personal and organizational information. The speaker spoke about the cyber security threats in our life, how do the attacker monitor’s the individual or organization, how to be alert from the attacker and measures to protect our self from cyber-attack. Impact of Cyber Risks: Financial losses, reputational damage, legal issues, and operational disruptions.

Mr. Nitesh Sinha, CEO and Founder of SACUMEN a security Execution partner, Bangalore. The event is organized in association with the CySecK, A Government of Karnataka, IISc, Bangalore. The 1st year students of CS-IoT, Cyber Security including Blockchain and Engineering, and CS- Data Science and Engineering. The total participants are 100 in number.  
28-06-2023 Mr. Prasanna Venkat, Founder, Fintech Security and Compliance, spoke about the cyber security threats in our life, how do the attacker monitor’s the individual or organization, how to be alert from the attacker and measures to protect our self from cyber-attack. The participants are actively participating in the quiz conducted during the talk by the speaker.
