HOD's Message

Welcome to the Department of Computer Science & Engineering in IoT and Cyber Security including Blockchain Technology. This program is designed to address the growing global demand for professionals who can contribute to innovation in next-generation computing. With the rapid rise of connected devices, digital transformation, and secure online transactions, the role of engineers who can design, develop, and protect intelligent systems has become more crucial than ever.
The curriculum focuses on three core areas.IoT (Internet of Things) trains students to design and implement smart systems by integrating sensors, embedded devices, cloud platforms, and analytics. Cybersecurity equips learners with the skills required to safeguard digital infrastructure through cryptography, ethical hacking, secure coding, risk management, and advanced security practices. Blockchain Technology provides comprehensive knowledge of decentralized systems, distributed ledgers, and smart contracts, with applications in sectors such as finance, supply chain, governance, and healthcare.
To ensure practical learning, the department offers advanced laboratories for IoT prototyping, cybersecurity testing, and blockchain development. With an industry-aligned curriculum and strong collaborations with technology companies, research organizations, and start-ups, students gain valuable exposure to real-world challenges and are encouraged to pursue globally recognized certifications including AWS IoT, Cisco IoT, CEH, CISSP, Hyperledger, and others.
Graduates of this program are prepared for diverse career opportunities, including roles such as IoT Solution Architect, Cybersecurity Analyst, Blockchain Developer, Cloud Security Specialist, Ethical Hacker, Data Privacy Consultant, and Researcher in emerging technologies.
Supported by a team of highly qualified faculty members from academia and industry, the department fosters innovation, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Its mission is to inspire and empower students to address global challenges with confidence, while contributing to the creation of a secure, connected, and technologically advanced future.
