Title: Walk-a-Thon
Description: To create awareness on the importance of civil engineers on site of any construction related activities. The walkathon was organized to submit a memorandum to the Honorable Chief Minister of Karnataka, to bring stricter by-laws and policies governing the construction activities. The recent damages on civil engineering structures and premature failure of structures as brought about this concern. Various issues related to current practice in civil engineering field was discussed by expert panelist before the walkathon concluded. |
